J.Perez RBV 215 is a senior and is going to Embry-Riddle in the fall. I've only been around for 4 years in San Diego, but from what I have seen, most of the top half of the schools seem to reload with kids from their frosh and jv teams and do compete and if those kids wrestle year 'round, then they are usually successful. My son placed 4th at frosh counties, 4th or 5th as a sophomore at jv counties, no place first year as varsity, then 3rd at D1 sections, 4th at Masters, and went 2-2 at State pinning the North Coast Section Champ for one of his wins. A 35-12(33 pins) season thanks to wrestling year around and the coaching of Marty Nellis, Frank Rameriz, Ruben Leon, Preston Picus, Chris Reed, Juan Mora, and other coaches I can't think of. Also No Mercy School of Wrestling and the CAUSA wrestling coaches. All the parents from RBV who gave ride and food when some of the kids forgot to bring some. Jonny did the work, but had lots of support! Thanks to the San Diego wrestling community. Tom Perez

totally agree with marc. brawley has lots of kids to replace the seniors they are losing, but with the list of returners and up and comers there is no need to wonder what brawley is gonna do next yr. with returners like velasco espinoza ruiz and osuna they will be tough

There are some good kids coming back from injuries too (one of them that i know is MEZA 215 lbs from West Hills) so dont get too excited.
