Kirk White will be in the San Diego area in Aug. Westview high school in San Diego will be having him come into their room to have him give a camp at Westview. I was wondering how many wrestlers will be showing up. The cost will be $125.00 a wrestler, coaches are free with their wrestler. The camp will be for 3 days, Aug 13,14,15. Two four hour sessions both days. After the first session of the day ends, the kids will need to bring their lunch or they can walk to the near by stores for lunch with their own money my guess is around $10 will be needed. There will be no over night camping after the last session of the day. The wrestlers will need to be giving a ride home and a ride back for the next day. Great Camp, my son attended a few years ago at El Camino. Kirk White is an excellent teacher. I was very impressed with this camp and feel many overlooked it.
Thanks to Coach Davis for bringing him back to
San Diego.

Coach: Just FYI. NC Times prints this kinda stuff free of charge in the community sports section twice a week leading up to the event. If you are trying to get a good head count ahead of time, let them know and they can run this info now. Just send all the info above to commsports@nctimes.com.

Thank you NC Times, I will. Yes Tommygun you are right coach White is a great teacher not only is he a great wrestler but also a great teacher. Many people over looked this camp two years ago. The camp was held at El Camino two years ago. This camp improved El Camino's team the next year. I believed it helped EC take two kids to state that year from Coach White's instruction. The camp also helped Chase Eskem improve the next year from his freshman year to his sophomore year. His father informed me that Chase liked that camp the best and it helped improve his wrestling.

ABC trust me my program is not making that much of a profit off of this most of the money is going to go to paying Kirk White and room cost. The only discount I can give is if your a coach over 19 years of age and you bring a wrestler you can come for free. Coach

Last day to register for this camp without getting charged extra is July 31 2009. For all late registrations there will be an extra $25.00 charge. The camp cost will be $125.00 with USA wrestling card and $160.00 without before July 31 2009. After July 31 2009 the cost will be $150.00 with USA wrestling card and $185.00 without. that was the best camp i have ever been too. i learned moves and technique i have never seen before. Kirk White is a amazing teacher and knows how to keep the camp fun and interesting.

Coach Davis, Great camp. Kirk White is not only a technician but an exceptional motivator. A lost opportunity by so many San Diego area wrestlers. Hope he returns soon.
