I would like to say there has been improvement in the entire process over the last 3 years. The fact that it is all on a Saturday and not 2 meets during the week was a huge step forward.
Now, it would be nice if the CIF took it a bit more seriously and made it seem like it is truly a championship style event. And this is not aimed at the volunteers for CIF (who are Wrestling people), but the ones in charge. They lean too much on the volunteers and do not seem to do a lot to aid in promotion, fanfare, etc. Last year the event had no better atmosphere than a simple dual meet. It could be a cool thing with more pomp and circumstance.
There can't be championship events with flip card scoring and those 1958 circle clocks.
The key is that it continues to trend towards improving every year and that seems to be happening.
