Frosh/Soph State March 14-15, 2003

California USA Wrestling sponsored the first annual California High School style wrestling championship at Bakersfield High School, open only to freshman and sophomores. Valhalla sent 12 wrestlers and had eight wrestling on day two of the 64 man tournament.

Also advancing to day two of the 592 wrestler tournament were David Guthrie (119) 3-2, Gerardo Garcia (130) 3-2, Eric Kincaid (152) 2-2, Justin Parker (160) 2-2, and Ben Pastore (275) 2-2.
